Fresh 48 Newborn Photo Sessions are, without a doubt, my very favorite sessions to shoot as a photographer, and I’m so happy that Fresh 48 Newborn Photography just continues to grow in popularity in Cary and Raleigh. There is something so special and so beautiful about them, which is why I include complimentary Fresh 48 photo sessions with most of my newborn photo collections. It’s truly an honor to witness one of your baby’s first few hours earthside, whether at home or in the hospital.
My Favorite Things About Fresh 48 Newborn Photography
1. Capturing new life. Your baby is a miracle, and I feel so honored to photograph this time for you in a beautiful and loving way.
2. The “quiet”. I’ve noticed a phenomenon I like to call the “quiet”, where distractions from the outside world fall away during your Fresh 48 photo session, and it’s just you and your baby. It’s so incredibly magical and something I love to photograph.
3. The intense bonding and connection. This is such a meaningful time - one full of joy and pure love. I love capturing the emotion of these moments for you, through photos and video, as you bond with your baby.
4. All the little details. I love including wrist and ankle bands, the hospital bassinet and blankets, and all the tiny details of your baby in your Fresh 48 photos. Those wrinkly hands and feet, tiny fingernails, wispy hair change so quickly.
5. Siblings meeting their new baby. It’s such a momentous occasion to bring a baby into your family - equally so for big brother or big sister. Including siblings in Fresh 48 newborn photos is just so fun. Whether they feel a little nervous or over the moon with excitement, these moments are just so precious to capture.
6. Helping parents remember how beautiful and incredible this experience really is. In those days (and weeks) after giving birth, you will be tired, and this time will pass in a blur. My goal during these Fresh 48 Newborn Photo Session is to capture what your heart feels and to bring back memories of this special time for a lifetime.
