Settled in and already growing so quickly, I was able to photograph Macie’s newborn photography session in the comfort of her nursery and her parents’ bedroom. Having been a newborn photographer for nearly 10 years, I know that breaks for feeding or changing are a normal part of the process - and babies do not care that we have scheduled a newborn photo shoot! That is why I never rush my clients or my photo sessions. My goal is to bring a sense of calm and joy to your home, whether in Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, or the Raleigh area, so you can focus on loving your newborn baby and your family.

Baby Macie | Fresh 48 at Rex Hospital, Holly Springs

Baby Macie will always hold a special place in my memory, as she was the focus of my first Fresh 48 Newborn Photo Session back in North Carolina! It was such a joy to be back in the hospital, capturing these memories through light and photography for her parents. This sweet girl was only 15 hours old, and we leaned all the way into her newness, with yawns, legs that kick out, then tuck back in, fingers that grasp her daddy’s thumb, sweet facial expressions, and that sleepy newborn glow. Fresh 48 Photography is about the beauty inside the realness, and it is always, hand-down, one of my favorite photo sessions to shoot in Holly Springs, Cary, and the Triangle area.

Baby Hudson | Newborn Photography

I so loved meeting Baby Hudson and photographing him with his family for his newborn photo session. His sweet big brother and big sister were absolutely over the moon for him! Newborn photographers have a special bond with babies, for sure, but I truly love chatting with and including siblings, too.
