I love to get a few shots of your baby swaddled during lifestyle newborn photo sessions at home! While there are many swaddling blankets we can use for those photos, many families like to prepare with swaddling blankets that look especially beautiful in photos.

I’ve gathered links for some of my very favorite swaddling blankets for newborn babies to help you shop for the perfect swaddling wrap or blanket for your baby’s newborn photography shoot.

What I love most about these blankets is that they’re stretchy - which means they don’t wrinkle or pull in weird ways when you wrap your baby. They’re also plenty large enough that they easily swaddle your baby.

Of course, purchasing one of these wraps is completely optional. I’ve only put this list together to help families who are looking for suggestions on blankets and what to wear.
