The birth of your baby is a gigantic life moment. Finally, after months of waiting, you’re able to see and hold your miracle.
And yet, this time is made up of so many seemingly simple details…counting fingers and toes, smoothing downy hair, and taking in every little bit of this new person that’s been entrusted to your care, while they sleep in your arms or gaze at your face.
What is Fresh 48 Photography?
A Fresh 48 Photo Session is a special session for families who want their baby’s first hours documented, including those uniquely newborn details, without having the entire labor and birth photographed.
The session is held at the place of your baby’s birth (whether at a hospital, birth center, or home) within the first 12-48 hours of your baby’s life.
While I’m there, I’ll do my job of finding the best natural light and angles to tell the story of your family’s new addition in a beautiful, honest way. These are unposed images that capture real interactions between you and your baby during those quiet moments, as well as those first feedings, first diaper changes, and emotional first family meetings. I’ll document the newness of your baby’s sweet fingers and feet, those delicate wisps of hair, and beautiful newborn details that change so quickly, all while chatting with you and your husband, and making sure everyone is comfortable.
Those first hours and days after delivery often pass in such a blur, but Fresh 48 Newborn Photo Sessions are perfect for holding onto those tiny toes and big yawns for a lifetime.
